We have a BT Studio 1500 answerphone. The older version of it used to beep when you had a message waiting. Now, all this one does is flash a light. Does anyone know of any way of setting it so it gives out a beep as well?

Phones are mass produced in China for pence, It is not possible to alter them. In fact the trend now is to assemble equipment so that when someone tries to repair it, it falls to pieces
