You do NOT need a "telephone line" to have broadband. You can have DSL broadband without having use of a "telephone" line it%26#39;s called a DATA LINE. Where you can have DSL broadband through the land line going into your home. People who no longer find a need for having a home phone get them all the time, through their local phone companies. yes! you need a phone line for connection, even with broadband ya you need a line for broadband but not for cable or t3 or t2 or t1 yes u need a telephone line to get broadband access.
