I got wound up in a prank call to a guy at my school. Now my parents are going to check the text messages on the internet that he sent me and i sent him. I have verizon. If i delete them off my phone, are they off the internet? How can i get them off.

OK, here is what I would do. First of all, are you CERTAIN that your text messages can be viewed on the internet? I had Verizon Wireless for 15 years and only changed about 2 years ago to Cingular (the new AT%26T). Anyway, I text all the time and I did with Verizon as well and I never have heard that you can see these messages on the internet. Maybe you can but you can be sure by calling Customer Care at 611 and press send. Go through all the prompts until you get to the "text messaging" customer service and ask them if this can be done. Maybe, just maybe your parents are bluffing..only way to be sure is to call Verizon and THEN, if they CAN be viewed on the internet, I would ask if there is any way to have them deleted.
Is this phone in YOUR name or your parents%26#39; names? That might make a difference in what customer care can do for you IF you are not the official account owner/holder.
If the phone is in your name, then all you have to do is call customer care and tell them that you want to know how to access this information on the internet and how to register so you can create a password etc. That way only you can access this account. THEN, I would immediately do this and delete the text messages.IMMEDIATELY.
