i have moved into a new house, i was paying on a monthly giro system..(￡33.97 pm..approx)..i called them and changed my details with them..within a week i had a bill for ￡125...i called and they said im on quaterly and cut my phone/broadband off..it takes too long to get through, i have written to customer services and had no reply, when i get through the operator can not speak clear english.

BT are a law unto themselves, apparently. Not sure what the legal position is, except they seem to be claiming that you have not paid a bill.
Best advice I can give you is for you to go to your local CAB [Citizen%26#39;s Advice Bureau] and see if they can help.
Keep all your receipts and bills etc. YOU AIN%26#39;T GOT NO CHOICE THEY%26#39;LL HUNT YOU DOWN. JUST PAY IT. THEY ARE A LAW UNTO THEMSELVES And if all else fails, don%26#39;t get done, get Dom.
