http://www.yashy.com/star.codes.html... click the red bottun good question call ur phone service and tell them that u would not lyk to recieve annomous calls or look in tha begining of tha yellow pages it tells you how to do it in there I am not sure what the terminology is to do this - block Private calls, however it can be done.
Contact them and let them know the following:
1. You want Private Calls blocked. IF they can%26#39;t block them ask the if they have a service that will tell the caller in order to place the call they have to push a certain sequence of #%26#39;s to "unblock" their call and place the call to you displaying their number.
There is such a service - I know folks who have that. So the caller has the choice, hang up OR they have to make their number visible to you the receiver.
Good Luck! dial *77 to activate ACR... this will block private callers, they will need to unblock there number before calling you...
payphones may still come up unavailable.. YEAH *77 DOES WORK...JUST DIAL IT AND A BUSY TONE COMES ON(NORMAL) AND HANG UP
