Have a v-tech phone and now reads call on hold.cant clear the phone to get a dial tone.help!!!?

base 1 and base 2 read the same message.no numbers show up on call list to redial..

vtech... not so good... when you replace that phone, get a panasonic...

your phone may have been damaged by a surge in the line, most likely from lightning... check the jack with another phone... more then likely you need to replace the phone.. Did you try taking out the battery(ies) to reset the phone? Possibly a stuck button? My best guess it%26#39;s a piece of scrap plastic . . .I have one , experience
