How & who do I complain to regarding not receiving Talk Talk broadband?

I took out the package (call charges and line rental) including free broadband in September of 2006, after lots and lots of excusses I have still not got the broadband (4th July 2007) so since last September I have had to keep on paying for BT Broadband. Can I claim this money back from Talk Talk!! and who can I complain to!!

u can complain to the company unfortunately the deal that you got in 2006 was the advertised deal of free broadband however you had to pay for calls (￡20.99) so as the broadband part of the package is free you will not be able to claim any monies from talk talk however if you were not able to receive the "free" broadband in you area and you are paying ￡30.99 and they have not provided you with this service you can claim this money back by calling customer services to just complain you can call of-com the telecommunication regulators...however they are already aware of the issues...not that it helps but you are not alone there are thousand of people in your position the best thing to do is cancel the subscription and the next time you see free be careful!! I had exactly the same problem with Talk Talk. I wish I had stayed with B.T. When I phoned the company I was put on a stacking system, where I remained being shunted around from pillar to post for 55 minutes (I was determined to get things sorted out). THEN I was cut off! In the other hand, you may use skype phone To terminate to a phone in India means one of the Indian operators is going to carry the call. They expect to be paid. Unless you have some nifty setup with a private line or something, I believe you%26#39;ll be stuck paying for it.

OK, here%26#39;s the scoop: I live with my elderly grandfather whom I%26#39;m taking care of, and I don%26#39;t want to give people, businesses, my creditors, etc., his home phone number to contact me because I feel that absolutely disrespectful on him and also I want to clear my mobile phone line from people calling. I get around fifty messages a day, and I would like a way to get a free (or almost free) voice mail box so that I can listen to their messages and call them back when I get an opportunity. I am not dodging anyone because I have no reason (I pay my bills and am on good standings with everyone I know) I just hate the phones ranging off the hook continously. I have a lot of obligations, and my mobile phone (albeit accepts free incoming calls) is strictly for emergencies and for key people like my grandfather to contact me when I%26#39;m away at the university or work.

I just got fired from my job for something i didn%26#39;t do, and i really do not want my parents to find out. I%26#39;m 16 and it was my first job, and i don%26#39;t want them to call about my paycheck or anything, and i was wondering if there is a way to just block my works number

*60 is call block. If that doesn%26#39;t work, then you do not have call block, and need to install it. To do that you have to call your local phone company, give them your parents info including ssn, then you can get it. They will eventually find out. Your best bet is to come clean and tell them before someone else does. That would be worse ! i dont want some people to be bothering me calling my house, how would i go about blocking their numbers from them not being able to call my home number? please help!

1.)Call your phone co. and give them the numbers that you want to block (Telemarketers are always changing their phone numbers-so this doesn%26#39;t work too well.)

2.)Get caller ID, and turn the ringer on your phone off--then if there is a family emer. you can see the caller on your caller ID, and include step 3.

3.)Turn off the ringer on your phone, set up an answering machine that answers after 2 or 3 rings, and say on the answering machine " this number is does not take in bound calls!" for use with step 2.

or: "this number is out of service!" to be used alone on answering machine.

4.) Get call fowarding to your cell phone, turn off your cell phone.

5.) I have call messaging with my phone Co., so I just turn off the ringer on the phone and call for my messages when I want them! call ur phone company and they can block it for you Call your phone company. Contact them and let them know the following:

1. You want Private Calls blocked. IF they can%26#39;t block them ask the if they have a service that will tell the caller in order to place the call they have to push a certain sequence of #%26#39;s to "unblock" their call and place the call to you displaying their number.

There is such a service - I know folks who have that. So the caller has the choice, hang up OR they have to make their number visible to you the receiver.
