i use vonage for my phone and it is hooked up thru internet. all a sudden the phones died and when someone calls in i cant answer and when i try to call out, it just beeps at my. all 3 phones are messed up, but the internet still works. what is the problem ? are the phone lines cut ??? i have a neighbor who hates me and threstened to other neighbors tonight that she was going to drag me outta the house and cut me. my husband called her husband to tell him to back her offa nd he did. in the middle of my conversation with my husband about this the phones died. do you think she did this ??

This is typical with Vonage, that is why I canceled their service. 1.
First thing do a speed check on your Internet connection.
2. Log into you Vonage account and use their speed test to verify that your connection meets their requirements.
3.If all that seems OK you will probably need to replace your Internet/voip converter. If the phone line was cut it wouldnt effect Vonage as Vonage goes thru your high speed internet connection. Go to the vonage site and check to see if they have online tech support or if you have a cell then call their tech support. maybe the setup was mixed up. i know a friend from the Philippines that in times when she uses internet, she cannot receive a call on the phone, but when she log out and turn off the PC, this will be the time she can receive phone calls. so it could be like that. try to check your phone service provider or a computer tech to reset everything if you cannot make it by yourself.
*your neighbor is not the reason that your phone died, needless to say, she is not that smart, you know it, don%26#39;t you?
