I need help with telephones and broadband?

At present,my bt master socket is in my hallway, i have to run two extention leads of it, one in the living room and one upstairs, here is where i have my filter plugged in for my broadband, but the lines are very crackly, can someone advise me. Would like to make it neater and less noiser.

Answer:

as far as the noise you need to install a filter at each phone. and i would suggest getting a 5.8GHZ cordless phone especially if you have a wireless router that is 2.4GHZ Get a wireless router. I have a netgear one that is fantastic. Pop down to PC world and get some advice on the best one, but I really like the netgear. Go wireless. To be honest I use Virgin broadband and am surprised by the problems other users have. Hope you get the problem sorted soon.
