Is there any way if i can interupt my message in between and redo it while im on someones answering

Sometimes you don%26#39;t like the message you are leaving on someone%26#39;s answering machine and want to restart and do it all over again in anmore appropriate way..so is there any key on the phone to do it again before pressing the %26#39;OFF%26#39; button on the phone. I know cell phones have the option but do landline phones have it?

if it is voicemail (some digital answering machines have this feature, but it is rare) you can press # when you are done recording your message, and you will be provided with several options something like press 1 to send normal, press 2 to send urgent press 3 to re record your message NO! Think before you speak! Duh! If it%26#39;s a voicemail system a * or # will usually work, however, if it%26#39;s just an answering machine your pretty much left with what you said...
