If you call long distance and hang up before they answer will that number still show up on your bill

I strayed from the question, but thought you might want to know. ofcourse, they still charge you too if your on the phone more than 15 seconds im pretty sure if the phone doesnt connect in other words u hang up before they answer then no the number wont show up on the bill No it will not show up unless the other part answered the phone. If a answering machine picks it up then yes a charge will be made. If your long distance carrier charges for long distance even if no ne answers and no machhine picked up then it is time to change phone service.
