If I make a Collect call, will it show up on my bill, or who Im calling?

I want to make a collect call to a friend, but im not sure if the call will show up on my bill or not... just wonderin lol

Answer:

It depends on the phone service you have, and the statements they are sending you. Some services will give you a listing of all outgoing calls, as well as incomming. So, yes, if you have one of those services, the call will show up on your bill, as well as the person you are calling collect (assuming they accept the charges.) However, I%26#39;m not completely sure if it will show the number you called, or just "1-800-Collect." Call the phone company and ask. Your friend is asked if they want to accept the charges or not. if you make a collect call it will show up on the persons bill you are calling if they accept the call The person you call is asked to accept charges before the operator will put the call through. The person that receives the call is responsible for the payment. If I call someone collect or something I usually offer to give them the money to cover it. It will show up on the receiver%26#39;s bill if they accept the call.
