Can one connect two landline phone lines into one same device and all three can talk at the same tim

Hi

I have two separate landlines and local calls are free on both phone but I donot have three way calling system on them. I was wondering if its possible for me to make to separate calls on two landline phones and then connect them into one line via a device or phonebox or something ? Thanks

Answers:

almost every 2 line phone has a confrence feature, so that you can have you, and the other 2 people on each of your lines to talk together the same as 3 way calling...

a 2 line phone will either need a jack that is wired for 2 lines, or can be connected to 2 seprate jacks...

if your jack is wired for 2 lines, and you connect to the line 1+2 port of the phone, make sure that your line cord has 4 pins not 2... i have seen many people want to know why line 2 was not working, when the line cord only supported one phone line..
