When These Telemarketers call your home, Alert them at that time that you wish to be taken off of their calling list... in which they at that time are obligated by law to remove your phone number from their directory..
You may also contact your phone provider and ask them to block all private or solicated phone numbers... Look up in your area the National Do Not Call phone number.
You can search for this on Google. If in Australia go to the %26#39;Do Not Call%26#39; website(Google) You can google "Do not call list" and get a 1-800 number. When you call I believe you have to give them your name, address, and phone number. I did this years ago and the number of telemarketers that called dropped dramatically. What they dont tell you though is that if you sign up for other subscriptions or magazines etc, your name gets put back on a list. The only other thing you can do is to get a private number.
