can anyone tell me if any phone suppliers, eg telecom, ihug, slingshot etc has free broadband if you sign up through them for a phone connection. I%26#39;ve heard that some do but i don%26#39;t know if its true or not.

have not heard of any phone or cable companies offering free broadband.. free broadband would have to be funded by ad revenues. and while that was fine in the start up days of net zero, I do not believe that in a broadband environment that the ads would be effective, or viewed at all..
if you are lucky to live in some areas where they are building out free public wifi networks, you might be able to see free broadband... i believe they did this in new Orleans after the disaster... and other city%26#39;s had an interest in doing the same.. dont know if the cable and phone companies fought to block this effort though...
