How do I find out the number of blocked or private calls on my caller ID?

YES! There is a way, make sure you write down date and exact time of call, then call your phone company they can do a search, all incomming and outgoing calls can be traced how do you think FBI and local law enforcement can catch you? It is impossible.

Blocking the caller ID is for free (in favor for the crazy people who do this).

If it happens often and becomes annoying, call the customer service of your phone company and tell them you receive annoying calls from an unknown person. They will help you. You can not get the number, but what you can do is the phone company has a feature that will dial the last number that called you, even if it is blocked. I think it is star 69. Or you can have the call tracedusing star 8. There is a fee for this service though. IF you can find a way please publish it too all media.

Please find a solution and many thanks from all who have caller ID. though you can not get the number of a private call what you can do is call your phone company and they have a feature that forces people to unblock thier number in order to call so when they try to call your house private it will say we are sorry private calls are not excepted and if they want to call back they will have to unblock thier number (press *82) and then dial your number
