How do I get a new phone line and find out which broadband to use?

I am moving into flat it has BT sockets how do I get a phone line and then how do I find out about different prices for broadband connection.

Think you can check out prices for broadband on lineShouldn`t cost anything for the line if the sockets etc are there but they can tell you that on the phone if you give them the address.. If you live in a cabled area, your best bet is to go for the whole package Phone Cable digital TV Broadband via cable and Virgin mobile if you want. You can pick-n-match. You will need to ring BT to add the sockets live and then its just a case of pluggin a new phone into this.
