Can i have bt broadband and virgin media tv and phone?

At the moment i have bt phone and bt broadband with freeview tv.

My bt broadband is contracted for 1 year so that has to stay but I would like virgin media cable tv which comes with virgin phone.

Is it possible to have virgin media phone and cable tv but still keep bt broadband internet??

Yes. My broadband is with BT and my Telephone is with the Post Office.

I pay for my Broadband which is about ￡68 every 3 months and pay a separate line rental with Post Office telephone. BT do not charge me for line rental the Post Office rents the line off BT at a discount rate and then I pay the PO, which incidentally is cheaper than BT%26#39;s line rental charge! get the details from the site mobiledownloads4u.com your bt broadband comes through the phone line tho so you%26#39;d have to keep the phone line in. so you%26#39;d still be paying line rental on it. but in theory you can have virgin media cable tv without the phone line as its all through the same cable. when the bt contract is up then you can just add on the other elements you want. you can%26#39;t get BT broadband without their phone line I don%26#39;t think - or most others without a BT line

the only standalone braodband as far as I am aware is virgin. I%26#39;m getting it tomo 4 a tenner a month barbie, how are you getting virgin tv on its own without a package for a tenner a month??

i want it! to have bt broadband you need to have a bt line, unfortantly virgin isnt a bt line its a cable line, virgin can supplie a cps (carrier pre select) service where they take over your calls from bt, im not sure about the tv.. give virgin a call for more info... n o problem at all, but if you have freeview why get virgin tv ? if you really want virgin tv then give your freeview box away or keep it. bt broadband needs a bt landline therefore you will paying for cable and a bt landline.

If you want cable tv why dont you get in contact with bt they do bt vision which is freeview wi sport channels(virgin cant provide theses) and films and is cheaper then sky

cos you are a bt customer they will be able to provide you wi a deal but again you wld need a bt landline and broadband

ring bt and ask to be but through to bt vision sales and info
